MODULE B
MANIFESTO that we came up with in the beginning of the project

How free is our gender expression? What gender expression even means and what types of gender stereotypes do we encounter on daily basis that are so deeply rooted in us that we do not even realize it.

How all gender-related topics (for example fashion, work, body movement) is more beneficial for certain genders and affect some more than others and that can be seen in history or different cultures.
Final idea sketches and ideas, searching for gender stereotypes:
Some pages for our zine that I drew
Our zine idea:

"Welcome to our zine, it is a platform to represent those that are not habitually represented.
We are trying to create a space for people to see themselves in daily representations so that they feel seen. The creators of this zine are an international bunch from Slovakia, Romania, England, and Lithuania. We each acknowledge that the countries we were raised in have given us different perspectives, in all there is still a lack of representation of LGBTQ+ or in fact no representation in some countries. We want to create an inclusive space of illustrations for people to realise and question gender stereotypes. Please interact with our zine, customise, colour, and do what feels right for you because every self expression is accepted here. This is our theme and we have all chosen to illustrate in our own special way."
Final presentation is uploaded on teams

These illustrations depict stereotypes, but then on the next page, let the person who uses the zine to express themselves in any other way and deconstruct stereotypes. We want to point out that every identity, way of living and expressing yourself is valid and we give them this temporary space to express themselves and feel seen.
